A superb demonstration of Vfx and motion design, very well done to the music of M83 “We Own The Sky”. A mixture of trapcodes and particles, directed by David Altobelli. Made for the M83/youtube video contest. To watch it in HD klick here. Sadly it did not win, but still worth watching.

Barton Smith released his final year honors project ‘Stream’ this month. An adaptive computer system that goes with the needs of it´s users. The Stream adaptive computer system is more portable and expandable than current systems, it offers a more natural and personal experience for the user and is more environmentally friendly in doing so. It can be an ultra-portable laptop, camera-phone, or games console. It is what the user wants it to be. It has been featured on Behance and will be presented in Australia’s Object exhibition. This project is a great new take on personal entertainment and is anticipated to be produced.
